Our little baby girl is 10 months old! It have to admit it made me a
little sick when we hit May 4th, knowing that my sweetheart would be in
double digit months. She has changed so much in just a month. I watch
videos of her a month ago and she seems like such a baby, and now she
just seems so old and smart!
Now that she is getting much more mobile, our monthly photo shoots are a little harder. For every one good picture I have, I have 10 of these:
Let's just say she is EVERYWHERE and into EVERYTHING! She is still not full on crawling, but she can get wherever she wants by either rolling, walking on the furniture, or army crawling. Once she realized that she could get around on the furniture there was no stopping her! I almost thought we would have a walker on our hands before a crawler, but this week she has decided she can crawl.
10 Months has brought my very first Mother's Day! It was fun to go to church with my sweet little boutonniere that Irelyn got for her mommy!
Church at this age is certainly interesting. I loved it when she was little and would just sleep through the entire 3 hours. That does not happen now! She was asleep when we got there today and lasted until just after they passed the sacrament, and was up and ready to play! We luckily got a bench today so she was able to walk between us, but usually we get there so late we are stuck on the chairs, and then it is impossible to keep her entertained! She is just so curious and has to see what everyone around her is doing!
Some of her new favorite tricks are giving kisses, blowing in your face, cruising in the walker, waving, and clapping. She is usually pretty shy around new people, but after her initial shyness and curiosity in you, she will start being a ham and a show off! Wherever we go EVERYONE has to talk to her, and tells her how beautiful she is. We were at Brick Oven and everyone in the tables around us were enamored by her. One of the older ladies came over to talk to her and she told her how cute she was. Her response to that was to tilt her head to the side and lift her shoulder, just to show how cute she really was! It was so funny!
She goes after your cokes whether it is in a can or a cup with a straw. I keep telling her she can't have soda until she is 30, but she is determined to get it if she can see it! In fact, the first time she ever got up on her knees and tried to crawl was because daddy put his mountain dew in front of her!
She is such a joy in our lives, and everyday I look at her and just want to smother her with kisses. I think her daddy tells me at least 10 times a day how precious she is. He is wrapped around her tiny little finger!
